From the elephants of Botswana and the orang-utan in Borneo to the ocean\u2019s beleaguered fish and mammals, animals across the planet face significant threat from climate and ecological breakdown, from hunting and habitat loss, from human disruption of their lives and lands. We are in danger of losing iconic species. According to the UN, 1 million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction within decades, more than ever before in human history.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

At the heart of this loss are intelligent, sentient, loving creatures, struggling to survive against enormous odds; they very rarely win. The Empathy Project is a multimedia initiative aiming to propel change for the animals.  Founded by former fashion editor, animal rights activist and speaker on climate change and new systems Bel Jacobs<\/a>, the Project will utilise art, speech and publishing to raise awareness and generate the conversations we need to question a system that destroys so much in return for so little.<\/strong><\/p>

In this t-shirt range, each design will raise funds for different animal charities, each working tirelessly to do what they can for species they value and love.
